De La Salle Primary is a unique educational setting in which one Year 4 Class, one Year 5 Class and one Year 6 class, around 80 students in total, operate individually and collectively under the watchful eyes of their 3 dedicated class teachers.

This setting enables all teachers to form close bonds with not only their own students but also all those in Primary thus creating the family environment, which is Primary. This provides an extremely secure and stable environment for the students and from this they can then take advantage of the many wonderful opportunities that being part of a large mainly secondary focussed college has to offer.

Our vision in Primary is to nurture the individual student through a cooperative, collective approach which utilizes a variety of appropriate educational approaches from individual tutoring, through group work to whole class instruction and indeed the "one in all in", ''everybody has a go no matter what their ability" philosophy of our primary family.

Our students come to Year 4 from varied backgrounds, suburbs and educational experiences. We view their primary years as a journey, which takes 3 years and by Graduation helps them to become independent, capable and responsible young men ready to take on the challenges of Year 7 and Secondary College life.
